Attract Customers To Your Hotel With The Perfect Advert

images3

Getting people to come to your hotel should be easy, but with the recession it’s more difficult than it was in the past. There are still just as many hotels, but there aren’t as many people taking holidays because of the cost. More and more people who do travel are taking staycations, where they remain very close to home, sometimes even in their own town. These can be beautiful and they can be a lot of fun, but as a hotel owner you need to remind people of that. You also need to pull in the people who come from other areas so that they will stay at your hotel instead of going to another one. One of the ways that you can advertise your hotel and all that you have to offer is by offering great deals and great specials to customers who have stayed with you before. By contacting them and asking if there is anything that you can offer them they might be enticed to come back to your hotel, especially if they had a good experience with you the first time. You can also increase the efforts that you make where public relations are concerned. Inviting a travel writer to stay overnight for free is a good way to get a good review, and that’s advertising that’s virtually free.

When you advertise, you want to be sure to let people know what sets your hotel apart. If you offer a great amenity that’s not that common, or is common but you offer it at a great price, let people know. If you have won awards or if you pride yourself on something specific, make sure you tell people. They want to know why they should spend their holidays with you, and you’ll need to tell them so that they can make their choice. You won’t win over everyone that way, but you’ll get a lot more business with a good advert than you’ll get with one that you didn’t put that much time into, so make the effort to let your advert really stand out. It’ll be worth the time and the money that you put into it.

Genuine Astral Travel Information And Guidance

images7

Dejavu, waking premonitions, a feeling you have been here before can all be attributed to Astral Travel. How can that be? Practitioners tell us that these feelings are not clairvoyant at all, we actually have been there before. We have seen or experienced this place and time, but simply in the Astral Plane and Astral Realms.

Astral Travel or Astral Projection can be induced consciously and purposely but most of us, it’s believed, do it in our sleep without even knowing it. What happens is essentially that your spiritual self, all that makes up your being without the physicality of your body, essentially projects into another realm or dimension to travel to any place, time or dimension that you choose.

Your Astral Self is known as many different things. The Astral body, Astral vehicle or super-sensible body, but whatever you wish to call it, it’s the part of us that is able to navigate the astral realms and explore new experiences while our physical body rests and remains on earth.

Some practitioners believe that we actually separate from ourselves while others believe that your astral self is more like a remote lenses or vehicle that merely communicates back to our mind. Regardless of which theory one subscribes to, and it doesn’t really matter,

Practitioners tell us that the Astral Self can do many things that our human body’s cannot.

For example, through astral projection, one is able to explore the galaxy, the planets, the stars and the sky. The Astral body can easily travel great distances in a blink of eye and visit far off places as easily as visiting next door.

Astral Travelers Inform us that some people fly all over the planet. Others simply leave their bodies and float over them observing from a different vantage point, still others travel to past and future realities observing events from another time.

Experts that practice regularly say that Astral travel is completely safe and holds no possibility of harm. One’s astral self can pass through walls and barriers, the very earth itself and travel virtually anywhere one can think of. Conversely and logically with this ability comes the absolute inability to affect any change from ones astral body. Essentially we can watch and observe but can’t change anything.

This makes sense if you think of this as an opportunity to learn about ones self and the world and people around us. Astral travel exists to allow us to grow and learn. It’s gives us an opportunity to have experiences that we may not otherwise be able to share in.

Astral Travel Information is everywhere and Astral Travel can by practiced by anyone. It’s believed that it is a skill that we are all born with, but have simply not cultivated along the way, due to our busy, noisy lives. With practice, some meditation and calm influences, anyone can learn astral travel and projection.

Where In Ireland To Take A Vacation

images19

If you only have one week, travel one or two regions only so you can make the most of your trip to Ireland. Make a list of your must see places first, and plan from there. If you are taking the spontaneous approach, seek out the local tourism office first when you arrive in an area. The locals also will give good regional advice and tips. Here are the highlights of each of the four provinces in Ireland to help you plan your Ireland vacation.

Dublin and the East

If you are travelling to and from Dublin airport for your Ireland vacation, then you may choose to spend at least a day at the start and end of the trip. Dublin offers history, culture, architecture, music and the city indulges all tastes and interests. Trace the history of the ages in Dublin from early Viking to modern Celtic Tiger years. Try a guided tour of the city if it is your first visit to ensure you see the highlights. Dublin is a good base for many day trips such as the Japanese Gardens, Newgrange Passage Tombs, The Hill of Tara, Glendalough and Wicklow Mountains.

Rugged West of Ireland

If you love wild untouched landscapes and ancient archaeological sites then head west during your Ireland vacation. Carved by the Atlantic Ocean the coastline is wild and awe inspiring. The Burren Region, Cliffs of Moher and Aran Islands are geological wonders and are renowned worldwide. Visit Galway city of the tribes and capital of the West, before exploring the hills and lakes of Connemara. Then follow the literary trail of W.B. Yeats into Sligo and beyond.

South

The Southern regions are known for its fertile farmlands, beautiful beaches, gardens, and castles. The three peninsulas of the South West; Beara, Dingle and Iveragh are some of the most well known routes for visitors. Visit Cork, which is Irelands second largest city, before travelling to Cobh (Queenstown), which was the last port that the Titanic stopped in. The South East reveals its Viking and medieval past almost everywhere you look.

Northern Counties

From Dublin you can be in the vibrant city of Belfast in about two hours and from there begin exploring the Causeway Coast or follow in the footsteps of St. Patrick from Armagh town. Other highlights of the North include the Glens of Antrim, Bushmills distillery, Fermanagh Lakelands, and Derrys walled city. Cross the border once more into County Donegal and explore the rugged west coat with Mount Errigal in the background.

What To Eat During Your Ski Holiday

images4

Compare for a moment a beach holiday with a ski holiday. The first is all about lying under the sun and doing practically nothing, whereas the latter is taking advantage of as much light as possible by skiing, walking and snowboarding and other activities that require a lot of energy. Besides, a cold environment makes the body burn more calories.

This of course does not mean that we are allowed to forget our good weight loss habits. On the contrary, it is important to be even more careful, because when we get carried away it is easy to forget how to eat properly.

If you are about to leave for your ski resort, for the whole week or just for the weekend, it is important to know how to eat. In this article I will point out a few tips to follow during your winter holiday.

First of all: forget about drinking alcohol to protect yourself from the cold, it is just a myth and a dangerous one indeed. If you feel warmer after your shot of whiskey or grappa, it is probably because of the bar you are sitting in. Since alcohol is a vasoconstrictor, the effect will be exactly the opposite: you will feel cold.

Do not forget the proteins: in a cold environment our body instinctively craves for carbohydrates, forgetting about proteins, which are essential to keep a good muscular integrity.

If you do not want to waste time in the restaurant at lunch, have several small meals during the day, rather than a proper lunch; bring some energy bars with you.

Speaking of bars, be careful with chocolate. It is true that it gives a lot of energy (about 550 Kcal for 100g), but unless you are planning an Arctic crossing, walking 12 hours per day, lower calories bars, with yogurt or muesli are a better choice.

If you have to sit down and have a proper lunch, stay away from fat foods. It is not hard to find them in a mountain resort, but the myth around them is that they will give you more energy, and make you warmer, but in fact they will just slow down your digestion and make your skiing in the afternoon harder. And of course leave alcohol for after dinner.

Even if your lunch was light, always wait one hour before going back to the ski run.

At dinner, if you had carbohydrates for lunch, balance them with proteins.

Now go have fun!

Top 5 Turkish Beaches Revealed

travel12

Turkey continues to remain a firm favourite for UK holidaymakers looking for guaranteed summer sunshine and value-for-money. With four airports (Izmir, Dalman, Bodrum and Antalya) serving the coastal areas to the south of the country, there are plenty of resorts to choose from – but which really offer the best beaches? The travel experts at Hays Travel have compiled a list of their top five Turkish beaches.

1)The Blue Lagoon, OluDeniz, near Fethiye
This is the most photographed beach in Turkey and one of the most photographed in the world! A protected national park, this clear, peaceful lagoon is cut off from the sea by a long sandbank. Home to the endangered Loggerhead Turtle, the lagoon is surrounded by fine white shingle and shady pine forests. Hire a pedalo and see if you can get up close to a turtle, or make a real entrance by paragliding in from the top of one of the nearby rugged mountains. Stunning scenery, unique wildlife, a real must-see spot.

2)Olympos, near Alanya
Oludeniz is stunning, but its popularity means it can get very crowded. For something a little less busy, head to Olympos. Secluded and small, it’s more popular with backpackers than the masses. Nearby Roman ruins give it its name. Go back to basics and stay at the local treehouse camp.

3)Patara, near Fethiye
This huge beach is the birthplace of Nicholas, who went on to be immortalised in legend as Father Christmas. Soft and spotless, it’s a great place for building sandcastles and playing but does lack shade in the scorching high season.

4)Turgutreis, near Bodrum
Ever-popular Bodrum can get crowded and isn’t very special, luckily you don’t have to head too far out of town to reach Turgutreis. Gnetly shelving and chilled-out, this is a great spot for families. The breze also makes this beach popular with windsurfers.

5)Konyaalti Beach, near Antalya
Clear sea and pristine shingle have won this stretch an award for cleanliness. Arrive by dolmus or stay in the hip minimalist Hillside Su hotel, which overlooks this beautiful beach.

“These are only a selection of the brilliant beaches on offer in Turkey,” says Emily at Hays Travel. “Go and visit, explore, hire a car and find your own. There are lots of little islands and hidden coves around the coast – for a real holiday with a difference, why not cruise on board a gulet (traditional Turkish yacht.) If you prefer luxury, choose a first-class beach front hotel and take just a few steps from your room to the shore. There’s a beach to suit everyone in Turkey!”

Things To Do Before Travelling Abroad

travel17

Getting everything done before heading off on a holiday can be difficult, but making sure your pre-travel list is completed will give you great peace of mind while on every single trip. Travel insurance, vaccinations, visas, and scanning documents can pile up on your ‘to-do’ post it notes, but all the little tasks done can really save you a lot of trouble while out on your adventures. This is especially true if you’re travelling outside of Europe or to places with special visa requirements.

This article has a six-item to-do list already set up for you to tick off. From booking your single trip travel insurance to checking your debit cards, you’ll find some helpful suggestions of things to get done before you get on the plane.

1. See your doctor

If you’re travelling outside of Europe, you might need to get vaccinations before you go, and in some cases, before you can even apply for a visa. It’s also not a bad idea to refill any prescription medication to last you through the duration of your travels.

2. Learn as much about your destination as possible

If you’re travelling to a place you know very little about, it’s a really good idea to read about the local customs and history before you leave. This will give context to many of the sites you’re seeing, and will provide insight into appropriate behaviours and attire.

3. Check in with your bank

Before you travel, check the expiry dates on your cards to make sure that they’ll last through the duration of your trip. It’s also not a bad idea to call your bank to let them know which countries you’ll be visiting, so no red flags go up which might led them to put a stop on your card when you need it.

4. Book Single Trip Travel Insurance

When travelling abroad, it’s a good idea to make sure you have single trip travel insurance to cover you in case of injury or loss of property. These policies are usually easy find and you can usually complete application forms online and just print out your proof of policy. Many countries require you to have cover before you can apply for a visa.

5. Scan your documents

Make a copy of your passport, insurance policy, card numbers, your ticket details, and any emergency contact information that you might need (including doctors, family members, and travel agent). Email these documents and this information to yourself, and also forward it to your family and friends.

6. Stock up your camera

Pack extra batteries; you don’t want your batteries to die on you when you’re just about to arrive at the Great Wall of China or Yosemite National Park. Remember you might not always have access to an outlet and pack extra memory cards as well, so you can snap photos to your heart’s content.

Used Travel Trailer – A Checklist Before Buying

travel9

Your retirement dreams may include traveling the country in a new travel trailer. However, these rigs can be very costly to purchase and operate. While renting is an alternative, another alternative is to purchase a used travel trailer. Used travel trailers are available on recreational vehicle sales lots. When you locate a used trailer that is right for you, you will enjoy traveling freedom without leaving a big hole in your pocket.
In general, the value of travel trailers depreciates at a very fast rate. In a year’s time or so, a travel trailer could have already depreciated considerably. This makes purchasing a used travel trailer very advantageous. A used trailer would definitely be a lot more affordable than a new one. In fact, you may be able to purchase a used mid-range or full-size, fully furnished Rv at the price of a new, small travel trailer.
But just like purchasing a new travel trailer, buying a used one also requires some thought and consideration. In fact, the odds of purchasing a pre-owned recreational vehicle may even be greater. With a little patience and the proper knowledge, however, overcoming the odds in purchasing a used travel trailer should be easy.
Examine the condition of a used travel trailer very carefully before buying it. Any pre-owned vehicle, whether it is a trailer, a car, a truck or a motorcycle, can have a normal appearance but may have mechanical issues and electrical damage. If you buy such a trailer, you may end up spending more money than you anticipated on repairs. Inspect your potential purchase well to avoid this issue.
As you walk through the trailer, turn on every switch to be sure that it works. Check every appliance as well. Inspect the water system and rest rooms to see if they are functioning as they should. Look at the motor and electrical system of the trailer. If these areas are not your forte, bring someone with you who knows about such things.
